GORGEOUS ACCOMMODATION - 5 STAR
Such a beautiful location, and gorgeous accommodation. Everything you could want in a B&B. Breakfast provisions including fresh laid eggs from the chickens outside our cottage in the morning. Clean, spacious and tastefully decorated. Board games for the children, CDs and Netflix for the adults. A gorgeous fireplace and comfy couch. Sparkling wine in the fridge and good chocolate in the pantry. So peaceful and relaxing. A shame our stay was so short, we would have loved to stay for a relaxing long weekend. I have no hesitation in recommending Emerald Ridge.

RELAXING LUXURIOUS WEEKEND GETAWAY
Had a great stay. The property is as green and relaxing as the pictures make it look like. The room furnishings felt really luxurious, a lot of care's gone into making it feel like a high end hotel room we felt. Internet was great. Bathroom and bath were huge and awesome. Nothing bad to say.

Excellent property, the bathroom was supreme, bed was very comfy, and the surroundings were beautiful.  

CENTRALLY LOCATED
We only stayed one night with our daughter, son-in-law and grandson, we were going to Gembrook the next day for a "day out with Thomas". Both cottages were beautifully presented and very comfortable. We sat on the verandah and enjoyed the complimentary champagne and chocolate, our grandson loved feeding the horses, we will definitely look at coming back again and stay for more than one night, there is a lot to see and do in the area. Thank you Rebecca    

GREAT LITTLE GETAWAY SPOT FOR OUR WEDDING
Stayed here on the night of our wedding in nearby Monbulk. The room was extremely welcoming, comfy and cozy. The bed was big, soft and comfortable. The bathroom is huge. Fit with spa bath, double showers and double basins. Although our stay at the Ridge was very brief, we really enjoyed our time and will be returning sooner rather than later.

Excellent!! One of my best airbnb stay..less than 5 mins from emerald small town..woolworths is around the corner..well equip kitchen.. Place is well kept..really enjoy my 3 nights there.. 

RELAXING GETAWAY
Emerald Ridge is a stunning place - even just driving up the tree lined driveway you immediately start to relax! The room was beautifully presented and was homely! Lots of little extras provided too like champagne, nibbles, chocolates on the pillows - made you feel welcome! We only spent one night at Emerald Ridge but would it is a place I would go back to! Thank you for having us!

AWESOME PLACE TO RELAX
Emerald ridge is a perfect place to spend a relaxing weekend for family and couples! We had barbecue and cooked our meals there. Everything we needed was in the kitchen... their pots and utensils are new and top quality. Generous breakfast, wine , Wifi and Netflix are free!!! My son enjoyed feeding the horses and the view is spectacular ! Thanks Rebecca!

We had a day booked at Puffing Billy and this great place was only a stones throw away. Friendly Host,Spacious room and bathroom,Bubbly on arrival,Gas fireplace was too good,as my wife has now mentioned( a couple of times) we should consider getting one at home. the oversize spa bath could fit 2 people comfortably !

Rebecca was amazing! Emerald Ridge is gorgeous and was a perfect stay for us to 'recharge our batteries' and enjoy time together in a comfy, cosy setting. INCREDIBLE PLACE FOR OUR 'MINIMOON'
My wife and i stayed for a "minimoon" after our wedding. Everything about the place is incredible. The animals are friendly and very cute. We really appreciated the little touches; like the fresh eggs from the chickens out the back. There was no need to ever leave the cottage as everything we could want for a relaxing weekend away was supplied.

ONE NIGHT WONDER
This was a great 'home away from home' experience with all the right touches of good hospitality and decoration. Despite being close to restaurants we decided to make full use of the large and well-stocked kitchen space which made for a cosy night indoors. We will definitely be back!

Staying at Emerald Ridge was great! The two-bedroom apartment was beautiful, as were the grounds. The host was very lovely, professional and added amazing touches to make my sister and I feel comfortable during our stay. There was a great feel overall as we travelled through Emerald.

I stayed here with my Mum and Sister overnight as a birthday gift to my Mum. Rebecca was the perfect host, nothing was too much for her and her response rates were almost immediate! The accommodation was absolutely beautiful, warm and smelt divine when we walked in. We were spoilt for choice with the breakfast hamper items and even a block of chocolate to eat too! Picked up some local Thai for dinner (one of Rebecca's recommendations) and it did not disappoint. We could have stared out the windows at the horses and goats all day - too cute! Cant wait to return!

Accommodation is perfect, was cold outside, but the warm fire inside was excellent. Great views and lovely animals on the property. Couldn't ask for more and would recommend to everyone. Rooms and cabin were spacious and clean. The little extras were great such as hot chocolate, coffee, bacon and eggs. Animals greeted us as we drove up the driveway and the owners were as lovely as the animals :-)     

LOVELY ENVIRONMENT FOR OUR WORK RETREAT
Thank you for supplying the perfect home away from home for our work retreat... we were able to work in the lovely warmth and comfort of your BnB. Everything was clean and the breakfast supplies were plentiful. We will be back to enjoy your facility again. 

SUCH A LOVELY SURPRISE
We booked here for one night, just to be close to where a party was going to be the next day. I didn't really look too hard into details of the property, only that the reviews were good on trip advisor. Our flight to Melbourne was due to arrive in quite late, so with the drive to Emerald, I notified that we would arrive to the B&B at about 11.30pm. Rebecca, the proprietor, was not fazed at all. She was waiting when we arrived, with a smile, and a radiance that only country air, good living and the crisp night could provide! I have to mention as well, as soon as we turned into the driveway, there was a sense of relief as the beautiful trees that overhung the drive up to the main house welcomed us as if to say ' you're home'. The room we had was really large with very high ceilings, giving an air of luxury. The gas log fire was going and had warmed the room beautifully. The king size bed was ultra comfortable, and I didn't wake once during the night as I often do in a bed I haven't slept in before. The colour palette of the room were subdued neutrals that all worked wonderfully together to create a feeling of calmness. I was grateful for the free wifi as I had to get some business done while there. There was a small table with chairs for eating, and also a beautiful sitting area with 2 very comfortable chairs for taking it easy (and watching TV I guess, but we didn't turn it on at all). There was also Netflix available but as I mentioned, we didn't turn on the TV. There was a chess board, that my daughter appreciated, puzzles, books, magazines. Also, heaps of info was provided about the local area - things to do, where to eat, wineries, etc, etc. The breakfast part of the deal was provided for so well. I had advised that I needed gluten free, and the other nut free, and Rebecca did an amazing job of catering for both. The gluten free loaf of bread was one of the best I have tasted. There was a large selection of yummy fruit, delicious yogurt, a bottle of champers (one of the nicest I've tasted in a while), milk, fruit juice, jams, butter, teas, coffee, etc, etc. There was enough to keep you full for days....(there is a small fridge incase you bring food that needs to be cooled, but it is small, so don't bring too much) The bathroom amenities were lovely. A double shower, double vanity and double spa bath, along with all the toiletry items you could need. Even the towels were a beautiful standard with a mix of Onkaparinga and Canningvale super sized bath towels. Lovely touch is the robes and slippers. There is more to this property than what I have written, but we didn't have time to explore as we had to get to our next destination. I would very much love to visit Emerald Ridge Bed and Breakfast in the future when we are next visiting Melbourne. Thanks Rebecca, for making our stay an amazing exclamation mark on our trip away:)

We have stayed at Emerald Ridge for 4 nights with our four year old twins. We have loved the peaceful and beautiful environment, while being very close to all of the highlights of the Dandenongs. Rebecca and Gavin have managed to cater exceptionally well to both adults and children in providing activities, accommodation and provisions for all ages and preferences. Being a family of pet lovers, we really enjoyed the interaction with the cats, dog and ponies on the property. Absolutely everything you could want and more is provided in the cottage, quality provisions far exceeding what you would normally expect. The cottage provides every comfort you could need. Whether you are a couple, family or group of friends, Emerald Ridge is a wonderful place to stay and caters to all. We were completely happy with our time here and would happily return and recommend to anyone.

Wonderful place and great hosts. Our Daughter loved the toys and animals. A superb place to stay.   

CITY STYLING MEETS COUNTRY LIVING
The photos perfectly depict this property. It is modern, clean, neat and uncluttered. Literally city styling meets country living. Rebecca is friendly and welcoming. The books and toys available for the children are as new. There are also animals to see: horses, cats, dog, hens and bird life. Fantastic location to explore Puffing Billy and surrounds. Don't forget the kids can use the outdoor play equipment (we did ). I would recommend this experience to family and friends. 

BEAUTIFUL
Beautiful guest room, amazing ensuite. Bed is HUGE and amazingly comfortable! Breakfast provisions were more than we could eat. Host was very welcoming and happy to answer any questions. Very peaceful place and close to plenty of restaurants and cafes. Exceeded my expectations, definitely recommend this place! Only downside was that I wish I had stayed longer. 

GREAT ESCAPE FROM THE CITY IN A BEAUTIFUL FRENCH PROVINCIAL INSPIRED HOME
Loved the size of the place, loved the big bathroom with double shower, vanity and spa bath. It had everything we needed from Netflix, coffee machine with real milk to yummy yogurts & fruits. It's a kid friendly environment with all the comforts of home.   

RELAXING SETTING

AMBIENCE OF THE PROPERTY WAS BEAUTIFUL
The ambience of the property. The suite was spacious with everything we needed. Ensuite was large. Owners friendly and accommodating and the breakfast foods abundant. The animals on the property. The closeness to Emerald town and the Puffing Billy station. Stayed longer than we expected. Quiet getaway.   

QUALITY & EXCEPTIONAL
Those who read my reviews will know that I'm very particular, which is both a blessing and hinderance and all my senses were happy here. After a recent stay at an AirBnB booking, I was really surprised at the poor standard because of my stay here has spoiled me. Emerald Ridge was a joy and felt more like a hotel standard in a rural setting. We received chocolates, wine and details of what to do in the area. There's animals, horses (not my cup of tea though), chickens and poochies, not that we ventured much around the property, there could have been more. So cute and unobtrusive. The place is perched on a hill, so you can take in the luscious views of forests and surrounds. The room itself is so well styled, it's like out a magazine, but it was really cosy and welcoming. The facilities were hospital standard clean, like really clean, which I very much appreciate. The bedding was luxurious and this posed a problem, I didn't want to get out of bed. I would have preferred to make angel movements instead of exploring, but alas the gigantic array of breakfast goodness awaited. Seriously so much food: Cereals, yoghurt, bread, local jams, everything you could imagine. We actually couldn't get through it all and we didn't need lunch, another bonus. There's FREE wifi with pretty good connection, so all were pleased, not to be without. Owners were friendly and pretty much left us to our own devices. Very close to Wellington Road (easy access) and close to the main town. 

LOVELY GETAWAY IN THE DANDENONG RANGES
The facilities were great and comfortable, esp. the spa. No issues with parking and the hosts were great. Having dogs and horses was also a bonus and with the hills it made for great viewing and walking even into town. The breakfast part was also a great compliment and no stone was left unturned. 

AFTER 2 DAYS WE FELT LIKE WE HAD A WEEK AWAY CAUSE WE WERE SO RELAXED
So cozy and comfortable. Amazing view and property. Huge spa and great bed.
